Is it necessary to have your wisdom teeth removed?

Most people will need to have their wisdom teeth removed. It is rare for these teeth to come in properly and most people don’t have room in their mouths for them. When wisdom teeth don’t come in properly they are considered to be impacted, meaning they could do damage to the other molars. We typically recommend having your wisdom teeth extracted between the ages of 18 and 24. 

Are cosmetic procedures covered by insurance?

Cosmetic dentistry procedures that only serve to improve the appearance of the teeth are not typically covered by insurance. However, if there is also a dental health reason for the procedure it may be covered. Contact your provider for details about your plan and coverage. We also provide payment and financing options to make cosmetic dentistry more affordable. 

Do you need to see an orthodontist for Invisalign?

One of the biggest benefits of Invisalign is that it can be offered in dental offices without the need for a specialist. Invisalign technology makes it easy to create and carry out a plan for realignment of the teeth. A dentist can administer this treatment without the need of an orthodontist’s expertise.
